The Running Man Resort was formed in late 2002 after its founder actor writer and producer, Yaphet Kotto and his wife Tessie, discovered that their seaside hideaway was becoming ever increasingly popular. Starting from his home in Baltimore, Maryland where he lived while filming the NBC series Homicide, life on the street. He used the area to write about the location of his lead characters from his new Novel “Mahavatar” Secret Agent Felix Foxx is on a mission to test scientific cyborg inventions called brain gate. Yaphet decided to write about the colorful local characters and the mythical Encantus, . He supplied the hideaway with soft drinks and beer; the people came from the local shops, the town, and community clubs to sing on the beach and give him more material for “Mahavatar”.

An attack vehicle is being tested at the resort by a revengeful corporate executive known as the Old Man. The German politician uses voodoo to control large African, Asian and Indian communities around the world and uses the residuals to fund the Cult of Caesar, the evil secret society that is Foxx’s arch-nemeses. Foxx heads to Manila to work with his co-worker friend, Carol Meyers. While there, Foxx comes face to face with the Old Man and sees the evil genius in the man's eyes. He also marries Sophia Lau, the beautiful Chinese woman who believes her to be the Chiang Shih. The story then moves to the Philippines where Meyers is attacked by an Encantu and nearly dies. Foxx discovers the Old Man's operation and has to head to Southern Leyte to put a stop to it. He wants is to believe that his character Foxx could covertly enter the Old Man’s private island, well as far as I am concerned if it were my island he would be a eaten alive by barracudas and sharks. Of course, in the last pages of the book the story culminates as Foxx saves Sophia and destroys the old man’s island... I told you I would have something to say and now I’ve said it…But puh-leez! Read what I wrote. I am a woman who has chosen for ten years to be in a relationship with only one man. This should be a big honking clue that I am not looking for dick. Or Tom. Or Harry. ...just....one..
